A superb 12-year-old single malt from the acclaimed Macallan distillery, released as part of the Double Cask series. This expression marries whisky matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned American oak and European oak casks, creating a beautifully balanced and harmonious character.

The result is a warm, rounded single malt filled with sweet spice, creamy textures, and gentle oak influence.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Classic dried fruits, less intense than Sherry Oak. Aromatic butterscotch, soft spice.

Palate:

Creamy and honeyed with thick-cut marmalade, notes of ginger, cinnamon and warm pastries.

Finish:

Fruity with vanilla and sultana.
